Happy birthday boy

For Tyler's third birthday we knew we wanted to have his first "friends" party -- with all the cute little people he plays with and loves dearly. He's a very people-oriented kid, and so we daily talked about who was coming and how happy he was about it. What's funny is the day of the party, Scott and I were as excited as Tyler if not more so -- just to see his reaction and make his day so special. We used to throw a lot of parties (before kids) and loved the process of planning and the chaos of having a lot of people over, so it was great to feel that excitement again (which was of course increased by the fact that it was for our dear little boy).

We have almost 200 photos from the event, and our guests were good sports about having both my sister and I snapping away.
