We had a great time throwing our first party at the new house for the 4th of July. The preparations started a week before the party and I'd never seen the kids so excited. They were overjoyed when the day of the party finally arrived and they got to welcome their friends and family. Tyler loved being around everyone and even wanted his friends and cousins to go inside the house from the backyard whenever he did. ;) He was out on the pedal boat when some guests started to leave and I could hear him yelling "no! Come back!" from the boat. Fortunately, we did have a few friends stay all the way through the day into the eve (the party started at 10:30am) and we enjoyed the afternoon rain and lit the sparkers at dusk. It was a special and memorable holiday to have everyone here. I took more pics before and after the party rather than during it, but did get a few at least!
