Snakes are Everywhere

Did you know that a snake has to be quiet to catch or eat its prey? Or did you know that a sea snake lives in the ocean? Well you are going to find all of that information from this article.1st snakes don't have big nostrils or sense of smell, why? Because they use their tongue to smell or some but not many snakes have big nostrils like the pit viper and venomous which means poisonous snakes like that. So then we have the top ten venomous snakes. Number 10 rattle snake, 9 Death Adder, 8 vipers, 7 king cobra, 6 tiger snake, 5 Taipan, 4 black mamba, 3 blue crate, 2 sea snake, and finally 1 indian taipan. Next, is where they live and where they live is their habitat and their habitat is usually warm, why? Because they are cool blooded. Most snakes live in deserts, rain forests, and trees. Snakes are not amphibians or mammals, they are reptiles which are cool blooded animals. But did you know that not all snakes use their mouth? Some of them squeeze to catch their prey like the Anaconda, Python, and the Boa constrictor. It is not only 1 of the snakes that squeezes to kill its prey but it is also one of the strongest and heaviest snakes in the world. Some other snakes also squeeze their prey, while also being heavy and strong. There are lots of other ways for a snake to catch its prey instead of biting. There is spitting out venom which is usually what cobras do. The fastest snakes in the world are probably king cobra and black mamba. Their speed averages about 12 miles per hour, that is 2 times faster then most people can run.. an
The smallest snake in the world is not much bigger then a quarter. It was first discovered in the year 2001. There are more then 3,000 types of snake species or snakes types found in the world. Snakes have scales but they do not have scales on the bottom of them. Why? Because if snakes had scales at the bottom of them then snakes would not be able to move. Instead, most snakes have a long smooth line that is white on their stomach. (So you might have a clue where they poop). Snakes lay a lot of eggs, they usually lay 20 or 30 eggs. At first they are very hyper and afraid so you might want to stay back or they might bite you. But some baby snakes don't make it when they are first born. When they become bigger, the slower they move. This is because when they become older, they weigh more in pounds. Snakes usually stay in boroughs to lay eggs and keep their boroughs protected because if not, the babies might die. When a baby hatches, their mother doesn’t always stay by their side. The mother usually takes off to find food for the newborn snake. Next, when it is winter season they hibernate. Hibernation is when an animal spends the winter in an inactive state.
A cool fact about snakes is their jaws are not like humans. How? Snake jaws are not connected in the back of their mouths. Their jaws are this way so they can eat very big meals. A snake can eat a meal that is about the size of a backpack. They have a little tube in the back of their mouth that comes out far enough for them to get air, even when their mouth is completely full. Majority of snakes have teeth but the poisonous ones have fangs. Snakes can move their fangs back and forth but not side to side. When they are angry they can easily make their fangs move forward, with their mouth wide open, and bite their prey. Snakes hunt their prey in a different way than most animals do. They use their senses to get away from danger, hunt their prey, and also to find a mate. Some snakes have good eyesight but a lot of snakes can only tell the difference between white and black. They need to sue their other sense since they have poor eyesight. Snakes mainly rely on their sense of touch and their sense of smell. But a cool fact is snakes do not have noses like us. They do have nostrils though to breath in and out of but snakes smell with their tongues. do
As mentioned earlier, some snakes squeeze their prey to hang on tightly to them. One of these types of snakes is the python. A python lives in Africa or other areas where it is very warm. pythons live in forests. they make innovator’s which means homes out of caves and and can live in cites now days. being close to a snake means that that snakes can look for the livestock dogs, cats, goats and other animals. it also means that they are known to attack when people threaten them which means mess with. but this barely happens, and there are actually people that try to kill these creatures and take there skin off some people like waring shirts, shoes, and more. do they do this? well they just get a knife witch is a mini sword and cut the skin off and it not only torcheres them it also lowers the number of snakes in the world. and by the way snakes don’t mean to bite well now I know what you are thinking maybe some snakes just pop up and bite you but probably that happens because when they were young they might of seen there parents get killed by humans. so they might not trust us. but others when you accidentally step on them then you know what happens HHHAAAAA!!!!!
