Two days in a row without a nap from Tyler, but wow is he being sweet. He's really learning how to work me, I think -- not only getting out of naps but scoring more lollipops, and all kinds of things. Fortunately, he likes to carry the lollipops around and then set them down hardly eaten -- much better for his teeth.
With no naps from Tyler and little Austin now obviously teething, I had to get creative about entertainment today. Austin is always thrilled about greeting Indy, so at one point I was throwing Indy a few treats just to get him to come closer to the window where Austin could see him and be happy.
For Tyler I was desperate to find a box, and I did, but the thrill didn't last as long as I'd hoped. Fortunately, he his love of doing laundry helped me be pretty productive in that department and he also had his second day of school today. I was surprised he'd remember it after 2 weeks, but he yelled "School!" as soon as I pulled in the parking lot with no prompting from me.
Again, he ran in without a look back, and I'm so happy he has another outlet for that endless energy. But even the exciting activity there didn't make him tired enough to sleep...Yikes. I'm really not ready to enter the no-nap zone...That would make every day leading up to this phase look easy.

| No one can get him to smile faster than his brother (teething biscuit is all over his shirt and face in these photos -- poor baby) |
 |
| They couldn't be sweeter -- Tyler even let Austin knock down his block towers and kept handing him toys when he dropped them. They make me so happy. |

| Tyler's shirt is ironically accurate...unfortunately. Also, hes all about putting his own shoes on (or trying anyway) and he's fine with 2 different shoes on his feet. |
