A Little Drama for our Day

Let's see, today I was head-butted, peed on, spit up on (x3), and also had a cup of water thrown on my head during bathtime (after I'd done it to Mr. T to get the shampoo out). But that was not the worst of it, unfortunately. After getting Austin set up for dinner and occupying my naked 2 year old with some coloring, I walked into the garage to get Indy his food, turned around and found the door locked. I asked Tyler to open the door but he must have heard the urgency in my voice and just started crying at the top of his lungs. I ran around to the back door to find the same result, and started to panic because I hated the idea of Austin eating finger food and me being out of reach in the rare chance he should start choking. It's amazing how a mom's brain works, because I even visualized myself throwing our patio chair at the glass door if that happened -- we have to be ready for all scenarios! Luckily, Jennifer our neighbor has a key and was quick to come over and let me in. I wasn't too embarrassed because the same thing had happened to her when Sebastian was around the same age and she came to our house.

Austin was happily stuffing his face and Tyler was happy to have me back!
