And One Lucky Momma

Last night's post was about my three wonderful boys and tonight I thought I'd post a couple of my favorite Momma moments. We leave the beach tomorrow and I'm sure my posts will go back to being about smelly spit-up, etc., but it's these special times in between that make me appreciate how magical life is and how blessed I am to have this precious family.

**As a sidenote, I will be setting this blog to "private" when we get back home, so I can write about being out of town, etc. without worry of such info being on the world wide web. However, I hope anyone who does visit will create a log in and password and feel free to email me if you have trouble. Thanks so much.

So many great moments with my littlest love.

Our last trip here in April could be themed "circles" as Tyler pointed out every sewer cover and other circle he saw. And this was the Trip of the Stick, including lollipop sticks, actual sticks and also to our dismay, discarded drink straws -- which Scott and I now realize are EVERYWHERE thanks to Mr. T.

Remember how much fun it was to be buried as a kid?

I'm now sure that my love of the beach is largely due to my own early memories like these. And I will always remember playing in the ocean with my dad when I come to the beach.
Tyler again stood in the waves today for a long time and has also added a stomp-the-water dance that had onlookers laughing.

Our 1 family shot at the icecream shop has become a tradition -- this time we couldn't get Tyler to let go of the icecream and we were all feeling a little weather-beaten.

And tonight's sunset -- perfect ending to an amazing trip. Now to moving -- I mean packing.

  2. Thank you, Natalie! It's been really fun to work on and so far, easy to keep up. You should do one about your move and new life -- I know I'd love to read it and your future kids would one day as well. Lisa showed me there's even a way to make a book out of your posts, which is such a precious keepsake, I think. Looking forward to seeing you Thursday! xxxxoos
