Well, birthdays can be several days, why can't Christmas, right? Tyler received a trainset from his Grandma, Scott's new grill came in, and I got a new point-and-shoot camera, which I decided I wanted for Christmas after messing up 1,000 moments with my blurry iphone camera. I still plan to use our DSLR, but it's not something I can easily lug around. This new camera is tiny and fits in a back pocket so easily.
While today was centered around wrapping a ton of gifts (our tree finally looks complete!), I also tested this new gadget out (and we enjoyed a great steak dinner on Scott's grill). Tyler was super sweet and is so excited about all the Christmas activity. We also had a landmark moment when he sat on his potty without his pants on for the first time and ate a lollipop! No tinkle yet, but we had a talk about it and he knows that's the goal. No pressure from me though (not until February).
Some pics below from my new camera -- I'm pretty excited about the quality, but of course, half of the ones I took are still blurry. Apparently, no technology can keep up with these little guys.
